Check out the auction now.

I have a GeoTrax Track Pack auction running on eBay that ends in about 2 hours. I noticed I made a huge error and forgot a space between one of the major keywords in the title when listing it. So what this means is when people search on the term 'track' this auction can't be found. I have hid this auctions from 100s of eBay users.

Just thought I would point this out for my loyal readers of the blog so if anyone wants a good deal on some GeoTrax Track and a DVD (this picture shows all the things included in this auction. This auction would usually close with the winning bid between $18 and $25 dollars and right now it is at $6.49.

Check out the auction now.

Auction ends at 5:37 PST.

Want the GeoTrax Switchin' Signs Covered Bridge & 14 Track Prieces for $22?

Take advantage of the great deal going on this week at Toys R Us. Don't be confused by the sales lingo, basically if you buy a Fisher-Price item for $19.99 or more, you can get a second Fisher-Price item FREE priced up to $19.98.

Which basically means to maximize the deal you should buy an item for exactly $19.99 (Like the mixed track pack in the picture above)and then get a second item FREE which will probably be $15.99 or maybe $16.99 (like the Switchin' Signs Covered Bridge)...I think the next price point goes above the 19.98 threshold ($19.99).

Or if the items I suggest don't interest you there are alternatives, and you may have even more choices if you hurry into your local TRU store as the online inventory appears a little low:

$19.99 Items include the following:
Track Pack Exclusive at TRU
Chop 'N Haul Sawmill
Rope 'N Ride Ranch
Nature Sounds Flexible Tunnel Bridge
Forward and Reverse Remotes with People
Lift 'N Load Quarry

$15.99 Items include the following:
Various Track Packs
High Chimes Clock Tower
Switchin' Signs Covered Bridge
Siren Sounds Rescue Tower

More Insider Tips on this sale:

Tip #1 - This sale scales online, I just tried this and it appears you can buy two $19.99 items and 2 $15.99 items and you will get both $15.99 items for free.

Tip #2 - This sale might be structured differently in your local stores. I went to my local store and notice the sale as buy one Fisher-Price item priced $19.99 or more and get a second item free priced up to $19.99. So if I read that right that means this would be a simple buy one $19.99 item and get a second $19.99 item free. They also limit the sale to 1 free item per purchase...but hey, you could always come back and make a second purchase if you want to scale it.

Good Luck. Hopefully this will make some one's Easter GeoTerrific.

GeoTrax Grand Central Station On Sale + FREE Shipping

For anyone who might still be holding out here is another chance to get the Grand Central Station for $10 off the regular price--that's right it is only $39.99 on the Toys "R" Us website.

And if that isn't enough to get your attention you can also take advantage of Free Shipping. Just think, you don't even need to load the kids in the car, ah, nice.

I can't tell how long the sale will last. Free shipping is being offered through this Saturday.

When you buy the Grand Central Station from Toys "R" Us you also get an exclusive bonus push vehicle with an additional car, cargo piece and train crossing sign. That's about the equivalent of the add-on sets they used to sell for about $3.

Hope this will help some of you out...

GeoTrax Grand Central Station Now 20% Off - Plus Product Videos

Here is your chance to get the GeoTrax Grand Central Station for 20% off ($49.99, $39.99) and take advantage of FREE Shipping. 3 years ago we bought our son a starter set similar to this for Christmas and it was a huge hit that led to hours of creative playtime. Not sure how many sales like this will happen before the Holidays so you may want to act now.

I also wanted to call out the fact that Amazon has launched a product video area on their site. You can also make and submit your own product review videos to their site. This might be fun for some of you GeoTrax enthusiasts out there...happy filming...

Knight & Sir John...Where Art Thou...Show Thy Faces

It can be a little hard to find a place online to buy the GeoTrax remote train Knight & Sir John as well as Smokey and Jose I have noticed.

Toys "R" Us doesn't have them, Wal-Mart doesn't have them...and at first blush...Amazon doesn't seem to have them... But wait, with a little digging I has able to find them for you at the following locations:

* GeoTrax Knight & Sir John Remote Train
* GeoTrax Smokey & Jose Remote Train

And Knight & Sir John are even a few bucks off the regular price right now. Add another item to your order to bring your total to $25 and you will qualify for FREE super saver shipping. Don't wait too long...these will likely sell out before Christmas is here.

Fisher-Price GeoTrax Toys -- Buy 2 Get 1 FREE Sales

Just a quick post to make you aware that now through this Saturday (9/29) it looks like Toys "R" Us and Fred Meyer stores are both having a Buy 2 Get 1 FREE sale. This might be the last sale like this before Christmas. Basically that is like a 33.33% off sale with the catch that need to buy three things.

And wow, it looks like Toys "R" Us is also providing FREE shipping for the last three days of the sale.

This is a great deal. I have been eying the new exclusives at TRU...should I splurge and buy the Blue High Chimes Clock Tower, The Red Rainbow Suspension Bridge and the New GeoTrax Fire Station with Fireman Figure? I am feeling tempted...

Costco has the GeoTrax Grand Central Station Mega Set with Nice Bonuses

I just got back from Costco and I found they are carrying a special GeoTrax Grand Central Station Mega set for only $43.99. The mega set comes with some nice bonuses. The following items are included in the set:

* The entire GeoTrax Grand Central Station set (MSRP = $49.99)
* Opie and Woohoo Push Train GeoTrax Set (MSRP = $4.99)
* NEW Team GeoTrax--All Aboard! DVD (2 animated episodes) (MSRP = ?)

If you figure the DVD would probably cost you at least $4.99 to buy separately you are looking at about $60 worth of stuff for only $44.

Here is a little bit more about the GeoTrax Mega Set...

You are probably familiar with the GeoTrax Grand Central Station set by now, if not here is a picture of the base set before any bonuses.

Opie (the figure) and Woohoo (the push train) are also known as "The Most Confused Team" -- they seem to be called that because Woohoo is the only train in the GeoTrax family to have a double hitch on one of its cars.

The GeoTrax DVD is called "Team GeoTrax--All Aboard!" and it contains two animated episodes called "New Train in Town" and "The Legend of Old Rust". Each episode lasts 11.5 minutes for a total running time of 23 minutes. There is also a bonus episode of Planet Heroes included on the DVD which runs about 25 mins.

Here is a little bit more about the animated episodes directly from the packaging the DVD comes in...

"New Train in Town"
How fast is too fast? That's what Aero & Eric learn after they challenge their new teammates to a race their very first day in GeoTown. They go too far too fast and end up hanging from a bridge? Do they find a way out? Can their teammates save them? Tune in and see!

Watch the "New Train in Town" episode online.

"The Legend of Old Rust"
The old tunnel is said to be haunted by a ghost train. But Aero & Eric think it's a great shortcut. Are they brave enough to face a ghost...or is it just a face from the past? Are you brave enough to tune in and see for yourself?

Search eBay for the items mentioned in this post:
* GeoTrax Grand Central Station Mega Set
* GeoTrax Opie & Woohoo
* GeoTrax DVD

New GeoTrax Items On Sale and Hiding on Amazon

I have been surprised that more of the new GeoTrax releases aren't available on Amazon.com. Doing a search for "geotrax" you will see the following:

* Grand Central Station Starter Set
* Rope 'N Ride Ranch

and that is really it.

So, I started looking into this a bit more and was able to find the following:

* Bull and Bruno Remote Control Train Set
* Alpine and Will Remote Control Train Set
* Chop 'N Haul Sawmill

I have provided links to Amazon to make these easier to find. Right now the following sets are also on sale and the great thing about Amazon is that if you spend $25 or more you can enjoy FREE Super Saving Shipping.

I still can't find the two other new remote controls sets (Knight and Sir John & Smokey and Jose). If anyone has any luck let me know by posting a comment.

Have a great holiday weekend...
